The Hindi film industry witnessed an enthusiastic response at the grand trailer launch of Chakkar Chavanni Ka, held at the IMPPA Theatre in Mumbai. The event marked the arrival of a fresh creative voice in cinema, as producer and writer Dr. Arvind Dixit officially introduced his debut film to the audience and media. The launch reflected a strong blend of excitement, artistic ambition, and storytelling passion.
Produced under the banner of Dixit Film Production, Chakkar Chavanni Ka is co-produced by Mrs. Rama Dixit and directed by D. P. Singh (Dev), who is known for his earlier film Belagam. The film promises a lively mix of comedy, mystery, and emotional depth, supported by a concept that stands out for its originality and engaging narrative style. The trailer drew appreciation for its entertaining tone and intriguing twists, creating curiosity among viewers ahead of its theatrical release.
South Indian actress Sanchi Rai attended the event as a special guest and praised the trailer for its engaging content and strong performances. The makers also acknowledged the support of Samar K. Mukherjee of Digi Filming, whose contribution played an important role in the film’s production journey.
The film features a diverse ensemble cast including Priom Gujjar, Janhvi Chauhan, Zahid M. Shah, Sunita Chauhan, Ramesh Goyal, Deepu Srivastava, Raj Malhotra, Anjum Khan, Naveen Stephen, and Rinku Rangila. Comedian Deepu Srivastava added energy to the launch event with his humour, while audience interest grew around his character in the film.
On the technical side, the project brings together a skilled creative team. Cinematography has been handled by Akram Khan, editing by Mohammad Sohail, music composition by J.K. Aazmi and P. Max, background score by Priyaraaj Mandal, and digital intermediate work by Ashok Verma. One of the film’s most discussed highlights is its impactful dialogue, “God craves devotion, not offerings,” which adds a philosophical layer to the narrative.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Arvind Dixit described the film as his first step into the world of cinema. Despite his background as a college principal and Hindi literature professor, he chose to pursue filmmaking with limited resources and strong determination. The shoot began on 11 September in Rajasthan under challenging weather conditions, making teamwork and dedication key to the project’s completion. Director D. P. Singh (Dev) credited the producer for creative freedom and praised the collective effort of the entire unit.
Chakkar Chavanni Ka is scheduled to release in cinemas on 6 February. Meanwhile, scripts for Dr. Dixit’s upcoming projects, including Dhanya Dhenu, Palak Putli, Dhaiya, and Bhola, have already been completed, with filming for Dhanya Dhenu expected to begin in March 2026. The journey of this film underlines how passion and persistence can transform a simple idea into a big-screen reality.
