Fujifilm India has expanded its Instax lineup with the launch of the Instax Mini Evo Cinema, a premium hybrid instant camera designed to bring cinematic storytelling into everyday photography. Blending retro-inspired design with modern digital features, the new model allows users to capture still images as well as videos, turning ordinary moments into visually rich keepsakes.
In the Indian market, the Instax Mini Evo Cinema will be offered in a Premium Edition Combo Box that includes the camera and two packs of Instax Mini Glossy film. A key highlight of the device is its rear LCD screen, which enables users to preview and select their favourite shots before printing. This feature not only reduces wasted prints but also adds greater creative control to the shooting experience. The camera also comes with multiple creative filters and effects, helping users add artistic depth and personality to their images.
Speaking at the launch, Koji Wada, Managing Director of Fujifilm India, said the company’s innovation journey is guided by its global mission of bringing more smiles to the world. He added that the Instax Mini Evo Cinema reflects this vision by combining the charm of instant photography with cinematic creativity, allowing users to capture emotions in a more expressive way.
Arun Babu, Associate Director – Instax and Optical Devices Business and Head of Electronic Imaging at Fujifilm India, highlighted that the camera has been designed with modern content creators in mind. He pointed out that features such as video-to-print functionality, the Era Dial effect, and the premium analog-style body offer users both simplicity and creative freedom. According to him, the device makes instant photography more engaging while maintaining the emotional appeal of physical prints.
With its unique mix of digital flexibility and instant printing, the Instax Mini Evo Cinema is aimed at users who want more than standard snapshots. It is built for those who enjoy telling stories through visuals and preserving moments with a cinematic touch.
