Oberoi Mall is all set to turn up the excitement this summer with a large-scale UNO championship in collaboration with Mattel. Titled the UNO Tournament 2026, the three-day gaming event will take place from May 15 to May 17 at the mall in Goregaon East, Mumbai, promising visitors a mix of nostalgia, competition, and entertainment.
The event transforms the iconic card game UNO into a vibrant championship experience designed for players of all age groups. Whether participants are long-time UNO fans or first-time players, the tournament aims to create a fun and energetic atmosphere with exciting rewards and live competition.
The biggest attraction of the event will be the specially designed 16×16 ft UNO-themed championship arena. The arena will accommodate 24 players at a time, divided across multiple gaming tables. Organisers say the fast-paced matches are expected to deliver a thrilling experience not only for participants but also for spectators visiting the mall during the weekend.
To participate in the tournament, visitors must purchase any Mattel product from stores such as Hamleys, Crossword, or the dedicated UNO kiosk set up at the venue. After the purchase, participants can register themselves at the registration desk by presenting their purchase details.
Once registered, players can enter the tournament arena and compete for a chance to win premium prizes. The event features multiple rounds spread across three days, with qualifying matches scheduled on Friday and Saturday, followed by the grand finale on Sunday evening.
The championship comes with an impressive reward structure. The grand winner at Oberoi Mall will receive a cash prize of ₹50,000, while daily winners will be awarded special Mattel gift hampers. In addition, all participants will receive exclusive UNO merchandise as part of the event experience.
According to organisers, the tournament is part of a larger activation being conducted across 10 malls, with one grand winner selected from each participating location.
The tournament schedule has been divided into two slots on Friday and Saturday. The first slot, titled “The Afternoon Heat”, will run from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM, where winners from each table will advance to the playoff round. The second slot, “The Evening Surge”, will take place from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Winners from both slots will compete in playoffs, and the top players will secure spots in the grand finale.
Sunday will host the final qualifying rounds during the day, followed by the semi-finals at 7:30 PM, where 18 finalists will battle across three tables. The championship table featuring the final six players will begin at 8:15 PM.
With competitive gameplay, exclusive merchandise, and major prizes on offer, the UNO Tournament 2026 is expected to become one of Mumbai’s biggest family entertainment and gaming attractions this summer. The event also highlights the growing popularity of interactive mall experiences that combine gaming, community participation, and live entertainment under one roof.
