A new Marathi film titled ‘Live’ has officially begun its cinematic journey with the recording of its muhurat song, marking an auspicious start for the project. Inspired by today’s social media driven world where “live” content has become a major part of everyday life, the film aims to present a powerful and emotionally engaging story on the big screen.
Produced under the banner of Riddhi Biddhi Vision, the film is being produced by Sumit Pandey, while Chhabi Asim Halder is presenting the project. The story has been written and directed by Sanjeev Rai. The dialogues for the film have been jointly penned by Sanjeev Rai and Poonam Vibhute.
The muhurat song recording ceremony recently took place at Recording Pancham Studio in Andheri in the presence of singers, musicians, producers, directors and several guests from the Marathi film industry. The atmosphere at the studio reflected excitement and positivity as the team celebrated the beginning of the project.
The songs for the film have been written by lyricist Mahaling Kanthale, while the music has been composed by Dinesh Arjuna. Singer Dr. Neha Rajpal lent her voice to the important song “Swapna Sundari…”, which was recorded during the ceremony.
According to the makers, the film revolves around the emotional journey of a heroine and her struggle for justice and rights. The story aims to reflect situations and incidents that audiences may relate to from real life. The makers believe the subject carries a universal emotional appeal and highlights social realities that are often ignored.
Director Sanjeev Rai and his team are attempting to bring a fresh narrative to Marathi cinema by exploring themes that have not been presented before in this manner. Along with its emotional storyline, the film also promises soulful music and meaningful songs that will strengthen the impact of the narrative.
Speaking about the muhurat song, music composer Dinesh Arjuna said that “Swapna Sundari…” appears at a very crucial point in the story. He explained that the lyrics written by Mahaling Kanthale carry emotional depth and simplicity, which have been beautifully expressed through Dr. Neha Rajpal’s melodious voice.
He further shared his confidence that the song’s simple yet captivating composition will connect naturally with audiences and become popular among listeners. The makers believe the music will play an important role in enhancing the emotional experience of the film.
The cinematography of ‘Live’ is being handled by DOP Gopi, while the art direction has been entrusted to Saifuddin Shaikh. Apart from Dinesh Arjuna, music composer Aman Shlok Jha will also contribute to the film’s soundtrack.
Although the film is expected to feature a strong ensemble cast from the Marathi film industry, the makers have currently kept the details of the actors confidential. The shooting of the film is expected to begin soon.
With its socially relevant theme, emotional storytelling and music-driven narrative, ‘Live’ is already generating curiosity among Marathi cinema audiences even before filming begins.
