Chandigarh-based travel company Atravelq has raised fresh funding at an equity valuation of ₹10 crore to strengthen its personalised international travel offerings and expand its presence in key markets.
The funding round was backed by the company’s seed investors and founding stakeholders. The new capital will be used to enhance technology, improve customer experience and strengthen operations as the company continues to grow in the international travel sector.
Atravelq offers customised travel solutions across more than 180 destinations, including Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia and New Zealand. The company provides end-to-end services such as holiday packages, visa assistance, flights, hotels, transfers and concierge support.
The company also operates an office in the UAE, supporting its international travel business. So far, Atravelq has served more than 10,000 travellers and helped facilitate nearly 6,000 international journeys.
Speaking about the funding, Prashant Daroch, Founder of Atravelq, said the investment will help the company build a travel platform that focuses on individual traveller preferences rather than fixed itineraries.
“Travellers today are looking for experiences designed around their interests rather than fixed itineraries. Through this fundraising round, we are now able to invest more in technology, destination knowledge and support services, enabling international travellers to plan their travel with ease,” he said.
Capt. Dhruv Anand, Director, Seed Investor and Founding Stakeholder of Atravelq, highlighted the importance of discipline, accountability and trust in building a successful travel business.
He said his professional experience has shaped his approach towards creating a company that customers can trust, employees can be proud of and investors can confidently support.
Capt. Kapil Malhotra, a Merchant Navy Captain with 17 years of international experience, said the outbound travel industry is changing rapidly as travellers increasingly seek personalised experiences.
According to the company, technology can simplify travel planning, but local expertise and reliable guidance continue to play an important role. Atravelq aims to combine both aspects to provide smoother and more customised travel experiences.
The company currently has a customer retention rate of around 60–70%, driven by its personalised approach and focus on building trust with travellers. With the latest funding, Atravelq plans to improve its customer experience, build destination partnerships and introduce new features.
Over the next five years, the company aims to serve around 50,000 customers and strengthen its position in the growing outbound travel market.
Founded with the vision of making international travel more transparent and convenient, Atravelq combines technology with destination expertise to offer curated itineraries and complete travel support for customers across the globe.
