The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bhaane Group, a subsidiary of Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd, the country’s largest apparel manufacturer. The partnership aims to promote the startup ecosystem in the manufacturing sector by launching incubation programmes and fostering international collaborations.
The Bhaane Group will leverage its expertise to support startups with market insights, guidance on foreign market operations, and operational knowledge across the startup lifecycle.
The initiative aligns with the government’s focus on encouraging manufacturing entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on innovation and global competitiveness for Indian startups.
