The Government of Maharashtra has partnered with the Tech Entrepreneurs Association of Mumbai (TEAM) to host Mumbai Tech Week (MTW) 2025, Asia’s largest AI event. Scheduled from 24 February to 1 March 2025, the event aims to position Mumbai as a global hub for artificial intelligence.
Leading policymakers, including Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, Railways and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, will join top industry figures such as Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran and Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani.
MTW 2025 will explore AI’s impact across industries, featuring discussions with business leaders, tech innovators, and cultural icons. The event will host workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions, culminating in the main conference on 28-29 February at Jio World Convention Centre, BKC.
With Mumbai contributing 4% to India’s GDP, the state government sees AI as key to economic growth. The event will highlight Mumbai’s AI-driven transformation, focusing on innovation, investment, and talent development.
