India’s first Paralympic gold medallist, the legendary Murlikant Petkar, had his inspiring journey immortalized on the big screen by Sajid Nadiadwala, head of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Recently, it was announced that Mr. Petkar would be honored with the Arjuna Award (Lifetime) 52 years after his groundbreaking achievement.

Expressing his gratitude for this prestigious recognition, Murlikant Petkar shared, “Receiving the Arjuna Lifetime Award is an overwhelming and deeply humbling moment for me. This honor is not just a personal milestone but a reflection of the collective efforts and faith of many incredible individuals.
