26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks – 2008

On the evening of 26 November 2008, Mumbai came under a coordinated assault carried out by ten heavily armed Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists from Pakistan. Iconic locations  the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Oberoi-Trident, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Nariman House, Leopold Café, and Cama Hospital were attacked simultaneously. The 60-hour siege claimed 166 lives and injured over 300. It remains India’s deadliest terrorist attack and is remembered as a day of resilience and mourning.
