Amazon MX Player’s new series Bindiya Ke Bahubali throws viewers straight into the messy world of the Davan family — a notorious mafia clan in the fictional Bihar town of Bindiya. Equal parts dark comedy and gritty crime drama, the show follows the power struggle that erupts when family patriarch Bada Davan lands in jail just before an election. His son, Chhote Davan, steps up to lead, but the real war is within the family.
The plot blends politics, crime, and family feuds with a satirical edge. Land disputes, kangaroo courts, and election chaos set the backdrop as a colourful mix of unpredictable characters fight for control. Chhote must contend with a cunning uncle, rebellious siblings, and a wife hiding secrets, while outsiders circle for a chance to strike.
What makes Bindiya Ke Bahubali stand out is its unpredictability. From a US-returned brother trying to “franchise” the family business to a doctor sister trading her stethoscope for a gun, the story thrives on surprising turns.
The series features powerhouse performances from Saurabh Shukla, Ranvir Shorey, Sheeba Chadha, Seema Biswas, Sai Tamhankar, Aakash Dahiya, and Tanishtha Chatterjee. Their chemistry fuels the tension, while sharp writing delivers both laughs and shocks.
Streaming free on Amazon MX Player, the show promises a rollercoaster ride of ambition, betrayal, and unexpected alliances — all without costing you a rupee.
