Renowned actor Tiku Talsania, known for his work in Gujarati theatre, Hindi films, and television, is now in good health. According to reports, he will be discharged from the hospital in two to three days.

On Friday night, Tiku’s health suddenly deteriorated. He was at the premiere of the Gujarati film “Mom Tane Nahi Samjay” in Andheri, a suburb of Mumbai, when he experienced discomfort. He was immediately admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. It was clarified during treatment that he did not suffer a heart attack but a brain stroke known as a brain aneurysm.

Friends were with him at the time. Dharmesh Mehta, the director of Tiku’s upcoming Gujarati film, mentioned that after two to three days of observation, Tiku will be discharged from the hospital. Tiku himself called Dharmesh this morning to inform him about his health.

Tiku’s daughter, actress Shikha Talsania, also updated everyone about her father’s condition on Instagram. In her English post, she wrote, “Thank you all for your prayers and concern. It has been an emotional time for us, but we are happy to share that Dad is doing much better and is recovering quickly. We are grateful to the doctors and staff at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital for their care and to all the fans who showered love during this time.”

Born in 1954, Tiku has been active in theatre, films, and television for over four decades. His last Hindi film was “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video,” directed by Raj Shaandilyaa, and his last Gujarati film was “Var Tehvar,” directed by Chinmay Purohit. His recent Gujarati play was “Shaatir,” and his upcoming film, “Om Sweet Home,” is directed by Dharmesh Mehta.

Besides being a talented actor, Tiku is an avid biker and often goes biking with friends. Although Friday’s incident caused concern among his fans, the good news is that he has recovered quickly. The prospect of his discharge in the next few days is truly heartening.
