Quick Heal Foundation, the CSR arm of Quick Heal Technologies Limited, has unveiled the first impact assessment of its flagship program, “Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha: Future Proof 2025–26”, highlighting significant gains in cyber awareness among students. Released ahead of the Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha Awards on March 28 in Pune, the report offers insights into how structured cyber education is shaping students’ knowledge, attitudes, and digital behaviour across Maharashtra and Karnataka.
The survey, conducted across 10.4 lakh students, included a detailed analysis of 2,18,221 respondents from 32 districts. It spanned multiple age cohorts, including Class 5–7, Class 8–10, and college students, providing a comprehensive understanding of the program’s impact.
Key highlights show that post-program cyber awareness levels have surged to nearly 90% among students. Among Class 5–7 students, awareness rose from 43% to 89%, while Class 8–10 students improved from 49% to 90%, and college students from 43% to 90%. The program also encouraged behavioural change, with 8 out of 10 students expressing intent to adopt safer online practices. Early adoption of safe digital practices was recorded at 84% for Class 5–7, 82% for Class 8–10, and 89% for college students. Digital resilience improved dramatically as well, from 9% to 86%, 68% to 91%, and 73% to 91% across the respective cohorts.
Ms. Anupama Katkar, Chief of Operational Excellence at Quick Heal Technologies and Chairperson of Quick Heal Foundation, said, “The findings demonstrate that India’s youth are becoming digitally empowered and ready to be the first line of defence in a safe online environment. Reaching over 80 lakh young lives is a milestone, but more importantly, it reflects meaningful change in awareness, behaviour, and resilience.”
Aligned with the vision of Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat, the initiative supports UN Sustainable Development Goals 4, 5, 8, 9, and 17, bridging the digital literacy gap among India’s youth. The program was delivered through 5,169 structured awareness sessions in partnership with 36 educational institutions, encouraging students to become Cyber Warriors. Alongside technical knowledge, participants gain essential life and professional skills including leadership, communication, teamwork, and project execution.
Beyond cyber awareness, Quick Heal Foundation continues its CSR outreach with initiatives such as Arogya Yan, a mobile medical van providing healthcare to underserved rural and tribal communities, and Arogyam Mansampada, a mental wellness program for students during the COVID-19 period.
Through these combined efforts, Quick Heal Foundation continues its mission of “Securing Futures,” equipping young citizens and communities nationwide with knowledge, resilience, and opportunities to thrive safely in the digital world.
