Realme Hip Hop India Season 2 has broken all records to become India’s most-watched reality series of 2025. According to Ormax Media’s Top 50 OTT Originals list (H1 2025), the dance-based show isn’t just number one—it’s the only reality series to stay on the trending list for 11 consecutive weeks.
This year, the underground world of Indian hip-hop dance burst into the mainstream. Over 25 million people tuned in to Amazon MX Player to watch electric battles, unfiltered talent, and personal stories that moved a generation.
Anchored by celebrated judges Remo D’Souza and Malaika Arora, the show also saw a galaxy of stars—Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Bachchan, Raftaar, Sara Ali Khan, Munawar Faruqui, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Rohit Shetty—gracing the stage. The grand finale crowned Shubhankar Gawde as India’s second hip-hop champion, closing a season that many say redefined youth entertainment.
But this was more than a dance show. It was a cultural wave.
Karan Bedi, Head of Amazon MX Player, called the show “a powerful collision of culture, content, and commerce.” He credited the show’s appeal to its raw storytelling and immersive ecosystem that allowed brands to speak directly to young audiences.
The show became a masterclass in integrated marketing. Title sponsor Realme led the charge, while big names like Sprite, Tuborg, Pokémon, Spotify, and SpiceJet joined with unique activations. Pokémon-themed routines, Spotify-curated playlists, immersive gamification, and even in-flight branding made the show a template for 360-degree brand engagement.
Amogh Dusad, Director and Head of Content at Amazon MX Player, said the aim was to showcase hip-hop not just as dance, but as a movement. “When authenticity meets relevance, magic happens,” he noted.
The entire season is now streaming free on Amazon MX Player—on mobile, Fire TV, Prime Video, the Amazon shopping app, and Airtel Xstream.
So, if you missed it the first time, now’s your chance to catch the revolution.
