Amazon MX Player is bringing a bold new format to India with Rise and Fall, its latest reality show. Hosted by Ashneer Grover, the series is dramatic, raw and strikingly relatable. The high-stakes format throws celebrities from different industries into a contest of power, survival and ambition. The show premieres on 6th September with free daily episodes on Amazon MX Player at 12 PM, and on Sony Entertainment Television at 10:30 PM.
At the heart of Rise and Fall lies a sharp reflection of society. Contestants live in two extreme worlds inside the Rise and Fall Tower. Some enjoy lavish luxury as Rulers in a Penthouse, while others survive with bare essentials as Workers in a Basement. But power is fragile here. Workers can rise, and Rulers can suddenly fall. Nothing is permanent in this game of privilege and struggle.
The tower itself, designed by Umang Kumar, is a star attraction. Known for designing spectacular sets for IIFA and Bigg Boss, Kumar has built the tower as both a battleground and a symbol. Every corner highlights stark contrasts: grandeur upstairs and survival below. It’s a stage that magnifies every twist, clash and confrontation.
The contestant line-up guarantees sparks. From TV favourite Arjun Bijlani and comedy star Kiku Sharda to creator Dhanashree Verma, journalist Nayandeep Rakshit, actor Kubbra Sait, digital influencers Arbaz Patel and Aarush Bhola, and Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh, the mix of personalities is explosive. Different worlds collide, alliances shift, and tempers flare, making every episode unpredictable.
Ashneer Grover’s presence ensures a no-filter experience. Known for his sharp words and fiery persona, Grover brings edge and commentary that make each rise and fall even more gripping.
Rise and Fall has also attracted big brands. Lux Cozy joins as Co-Powered By partner, Orient Electric as Official Lighting Partner, Haier as AI Home Partner and Pintola as Health Partner. More partnerships are in the works, making it a prime opportunity for brands during the festive season.Produced by Banijay Asia and licensed through All3Media International, the format originates from Studio Lambert in the UK. With its daring concept and larger-than-life execution, Rise and Fall promises Indian audiences a reality spectacle like never before.
