Government plans world-class tourism hub

With Maha Shivaratri approaching, temple authorities are making arrangements for the annual Brahmotsavam festival. The event, which will run from 19 February to 1 March, is expected to draw thousands of devotees.
To accommodate the crowds, officials are repairing pathways, installing better lighting, and enhancing security measures. Special queue arrangements have been made for elderly visitors and families, ensuring a smoother experience during the festival rush.

The Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple recently received significant offerings, reflecting its growing popularity among devotees. In just three weeks, the temple’s hundi collections surpassed ₹25.9 crore, alongside donations in gold, silver, and foreign currency.
Temple authorities conducted a detailed counting process, ensuring transparency in handling contributions. The steady increase in offerings highlights the temple’s cultural and religious significance, further cementing Srisailam’s place as a major pilgrimage site.
