In an age where most gadgets are purchased with a few clicks, many consumers still prefer to see, touch and understand a product before making a decision. Recognising this need, Mumbai-based consumer electronics company XECH Technologies has opened a new Experience Centre in Andheri East, creating a space where technology can be explored firsthand rather than through a screen.
The newly launched centre is part of the company’s growing retail expansion strategy and is aimed at bringing customers closer to its range of consumer electronics, portable home appliances, travel accessories and smart lifestyle products.
Located in Andheri East, the Experience Centre has been designed as an interactive destination where visitors can test products, watch live demonstrations and receive guidance from product experts. Instead of simply browsing online catalogues, customers can now understand how products work in real-life situations before making a purchase.
For XECH, the launch carries special significance. Mumbai is not only one of the company’s most important markets but also the city where its journey began. Company founder and Chief Executive Officer Pranay Punjabi said the new centre was created to make product discovery more meaningful by giving customers and business partners the opportunity to experience products directly.
The centre brings together products from XECH and its lifestyle brands, Everyday Organisers and Timalfi, under one roof. This allows visitors to explore solutions related to technology, organisation, gifting and lifestyle in a single location.
While individual consumers are a key focus, the facility has also been designed with businesses in mind. Corporate buyers, distributors, channel partners and resellers can use the space to evaluate products, attend demonstrations and identify solutions suited to their specific needs. The centre is also expected to support the company’s growing corporate gifting business.
The Mumbai launch follows similar expansion efforts in cities such as Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Kolkata. Through these physical touchpoints, XECH is seeking to complement its e-commerce and direct-to-consumer operations while building stronger relationships with customers across India.
As India’s consumer electronics market continues to grow, many brands are looking for ways to combine the convenience of online shopping with the confidence that comes from an in-person experience. Experience centres have increasingly emerged as a bridge between the digital and physical worlds, helping customers make informed decisions.
For XECH, the new Mumbai centre is more than a retail outlet. It represents the company’s broader effort to create technology-led experiences that fit into everyday life while strengthening its presence in the country’s fast-evolving consumer market.
