India Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd (IYM) has hit a major milestone by launching its 500th Blue Square showroom. This expansion marks a bold leap in Yamaha’s mission to build a premium, experience-driven motorcycle culture in India.

Since launching its brand campaign ‘The Call of the Blue’ in 2018, Yamaha has sharpened its focus on offering aspirational products and immersive retail experiences. The Blue Square showrooms, introduced in 2019, are central to this transformation. They serve as exclusive gateways to Yamaha’s global racing DNA, tailored for India’s new-age, performance-driven riders.

These showrooms aren’t just retail points. Each Blue Square outlet offers an interactive space where riders can experience Yamaha’s motorsport heritage. The ‘Blue’ reflects the brand’s racing roots, while ‘Square’ represents a community hub for bikers. Designed with premium aesthetics, these showrooms offer zones for accessories, branded merchandise, and even spaces for rider events and community rides under the Yamaha Blue Streaks banner.

Yamaha Motor India’s Chairman, Itaru Otani, called the 500-showroom achievement a “proud moment” in Yamaha’s growth journey. He highlighted the rapid progress, 100 new outlets in just 9 months, as a sign of strong dealer partnerships and a solid retail strategy focused on customer-centric innovation.

The Blue Square concept also ties directly into Yamaha’s strategy to capture the premium two-wheeler market. With an expanding portfolio of products, including the Supersport-inspired R3, MT-03, AEROX 155, and the YZF-R15, FZ Series, Fascino 125 FI Hybrid, and Ray ZR FI Hybrid, Yamaha is aligning its offerings with the tastes of style-conscious and performance-hungry Indian riders.

What makes the Blue Square rollout stand out is its pan-India reach. The network has grown consistently across all four regions, bringing Yamaha’s premium experience closer to customers, regardless of geography. And this is not just about products, it’s about creating a Yamaha lifestyle.

With 500 showrooms now in place, Yamaha has clearly shifted gears in the Indian market, building not just bikes, but a brand community that celebrates speed, style, and connection.
