Turnaround expert Vikas Jain brings financial focus and tech vision to NAREDCO’s youth leadership platform.
Vikas Jain, CEO of Labdhi Lifestyle, has been appointed as the new President of NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen, the youth wing of the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO). This leadership shift comes as India’s real estate sector prepares for massive growth, targeting a US$1 trillion market size by 2030.
A first-generation developer from Mumbai, Jain is known as a turnaround specialist, with a strong track record in reviving stressed projects. His appointment aims to inject fresh financial discipline and tech-driven innovation into NextGen, which supports young professionals in the real estate ecosystem.
Jain succeeds Ridham Gada, who now moves to the role of Vice-Chairman. Under Jain’s leadership, the focus for the 2025–26 term will be project financing, including strategies for capital structuring, valuations, and exploring new financial instruments.
“Finance will be the key theme,” said Jain. “We need a transparent and credible ecosystem to attract steady capital. Alongside that, our mission is to professionalise the industry and nurture next-gen developers who prioritise innovation, governance, and customer-first thinking.”
The real estate sector, while booming, faces challenges of capital crunch, tech gaps, and regulatory compliance. Jain plans to focus on strengthening RERA compliance, encouraging technology adoption, and fostering a professional, future-ready mindset among young developers.
Welcoming the appointment, NAREDCO Maharashtra President Prashant Sharma noted Jain’s strong financial acumen and leadership abilities. “Vikas is perfectly positioned to guide NextGen in building a resilient and transparent real estate landscape,” he said.
Outgoing President Ridham Gada echoed this sentiment: “His leadership will drive positive change for developers and homebuyers alike.”
As CEO of Labdhi Lifestyle, Jain has led the development of multiple successful projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). His finance-first approach, combined with on-ground execution strength, makes him a natural fit to guide NextGen during this crucial growth phase.
With over 50 active youth members and growing industry influence, NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen is becoming a key platform for shaping the next chapter in Indian real estate—one that values knowledge, integrity, and innovation.
