New Delhi: HorrorCon India 2026 has wrapped up its biggest edition yet, attracting more than 30,000 visitors over October 31 and November 1 at NSIC Grounds, Okhla, New Delhi. Organised by TMV (The Mad Virus) and Khooni Monday, the two-day festival transformed Halloween into a massive celebration of horror, music, gaming, cosplay and immersive entertainment.
What started as a digital horror community has now evolved into one of India’s fastest-growing experience-led entertainment properties. Backed by Khooni Monday’s community of over 10 million followers, HorrorCon showcased how online fandoms are increasingly seeking real-world experiences built around shared interests.
The event featured an exciting music lineup led by hip-hop duo Seedhe Maut, alongside performances by W.i.S.H., Bharat Chauhan, Ansh4sure, ParvMan, WhysoKai, NKSHTRA and NOIZX. Apart from live performances, visitors enjoyed India’s biggest Halloween parade, horror and family cosplay competitions, haunted attractions, gaming zones, live storytelling sessions, film screenings and creator interactions.
One of the major highlights was the teaser launch of “The Clown: Welcome to Joyland,” Khooni Monday’s upcoming horror game, scheduled for release in early 2027. The title is expected to become India’s first creator-made digital horror game for both PC and mobile platforms.
This year’s edition also introduced the ELSE Film Festival, celebrating horror and genre cinema. The festival screened acclaimed films such as Tumbbad and Chhorii, along with popular short films, while filmmakers and authors conducted masterclasses on horror storytelling, filmmaking and writing. Director Vishal Furia, filmmaker Bhargav Saikia, storyteller Harsh Vaibhav and author Neil D’Silva were among the experts who interacted with attendees.
Adding a family-friendly touch, HorrorCon launched HallowVille, a dedicated space for children and families. The initiative expanded the festival beyond Gen Z audiences, making Halloween celebrations more inclusive and accessible to visitors of all age groups.
Speaking about the vision behind the festival, Divay Agarwal, Founder of TMV and HorrorCon India, said that the future of creator-led businesses lies in building intellectual properties that extend beyond digital content into live experiences, commerce and partnerships.
The festival also received strong backing from leading brands, with HELL Energy Drink returning as title sponsor for the third consecutive year. Spotify, Flipkart Minutes, Digitek, Instax Fujifilm, Decathlon, Cadbury Crispello, Mr. Makhana, PVR and several other brands partnered with the event.
According to organisers, HorrorCon generated more than 2 billion social media impressions, reinforcing its growing influence in India’s experience-driven entertainment industry. With its blend of international Halloween traditions and Indian pop culture, HorrorCon continues to establish itself as one of the country’s most unique annual entertainment festivals.
