Prime Video and T Series have unveiled the official song video of Lalla from the upcoming Prime Original film Subedaar, starring Anil Kapoor in the lead role. The high energy track arrives after the strong response to the earlier Lalla Anthem and sets the tone for the intense drama that anchors the film.
Titled Lalla Taiyaar Rehna, the song blends striking visuals with a powerful musical build up. It reflects the pride, authority and moral code of Subedaar Arjun Maurya, played by Anil Kapoor. The track captures the emotional conflict at the heart of the story and builds anticipation ahead of the film’s global premiere.
The song is composed by Rohan Vinayak and written by Rishi Upadhyay. It features commanding vocals by Vishal Dadlani, whose voice adds depth and intensity to the composition. The music carries a deliberate rhythm that mirrors the tension unfolding on screen. What begins as a steady beat gradually transforms into a bold declaration of strength and defiance.
The video intercuts performance sequences with dramatic glimpses from the film. It features key characters portrayed by Radhikka Madan, Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik and Mona Singh. These flashes sharpen the emotional stakes surrounding Subedaar Arjun Maurya and hint at the challenges he faces.
Directed by Suresh Triveni, Subedaar is produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Suresh Triveni. The film is an Opening Image Films production in association with Anil Kapoor Film and Communication Network. With a strong ensemble cast and a character driven narrative, the film promises a gripping blend of action and drama.
Vishal Dadlani said the full track explores deeper emotional layers compared to the earlier anthem version. He explained that the song carries a sense of controlled intensity and reflects the idea of standing firm and owning one’s space. He aimed to match the grit and resolve that Anil Kapoor brings to the role through his vocals.
Subedaar will premiere exclusively on Prime Video India on March 5. The film will be available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu across India and in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. With Lalla Taiyaar Rehna now released, Prime Video has set the stage for what could be one of its most talked about releases this season.
