Blue Dart Express Limited has reported a robust financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, recording double-digit revenue growth and a sharp rise in profit despite rising operating costs and challenging market conditions.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, the company’s operating revenue increased by 15% to ₹1,658 crore, compared to ₹1,442 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The company also posted a significant 85% increase in Profit After Tax (PAT), which rose to ₹87 crore.
The strong quarterly performance was driven by improved operational efficiency, a well-established air and ground logistics network, and continued investments in technology. These factors helped the company maintain growth momentum while navigating inflationary pressures and higher operating expenses.
Blue Dart said its focus on network optimisation and digital capabilities played a key role in delivering consistent service quality and improving overall business performance. The company continues to strengthen its logistics infrastructure to meet the growing demand for express delivery and supply chain solutions across India.
Commenting on the company’s performance, Balfour Manuel, Managing Director of Blue Dart, said the results reflect the company’s commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
“The performance in the first quarter of FY27 is a result of operational excellence, precise network management and the continued trust of our customers. We will continue to invest in strengthening our capacity, network and digital capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the future,” he said.
Blue Dart has been focusing on expanding its logistics capabilities through technology-driven solutions and an extensive transportation network. The company believes these investments will support long-term growth while enhancing efficiency across its operations.
Apart from its financial performance, the company also received recognition for its operational excellence during the quarter. Blue Dart was honoured with the ‘Excellence in Last Mile and Distribution Efficiency’ award at the CII Logistics Conference 2026, recognising its contribution to logistics and supply chain management.
The company also continued to receive recognition as an employer of choice. During the quarter, Blue Dart earned its 16th Great Place to Work® certification, reflecting its workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
In addition, the company was recognised as the ‘Best Organisation for Women 2026’ for the fifth consecutive year, highlighting its continued efforts towards diversity, inclusion and creating an equitable work environment.
Blue Dart’s latest quarterly results indicate that the company remains on a steady growth path despite inflationary challenges. With continued investments in technology, infrastructure and operational capabilities, the logistics major aims to strengthen its market position while meeting the evolving requirements of businesses and customers across the country.
