India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.11,21,481.72 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX during the week of March 7 to 13. A movement of 240 points was seen in the April futures of Bulldex, the precious metals index. In precious metal futures, GOLD and SILVER witnessed a total trading volume of Rs.73,204.54 crore in 7,13,147 trades on MCX.
