Dhurandhar has scripted a landmark moment for Indian cinema by becoming the first-ever Bollywood film whose complete soundtrack features on Spotify’s Global Top 200 chart. All eleven tracks from the film have simultaneously entered the global ranking, marking an unprecedented achievement for a Hindi film album.
The music of Dhurandhar has been gaining massive traction across digital platforms, with listeners worldwide responding strongly to its soundscape. Reflecting this momentum, every song from the album has also secured a place in Spotify India’s Top 200, underlining its widespread domestic appeal alongside global reach.
The album debuted at number two on Spotify’s Global Top Albums chart and number five on Spotify’s US Top Albums chart, positioning it among the highest-opening Indian film albums internationally. Individually, the title track Dhurandhar is currently ranked at number three, Ishq Jalakar and Karvaan at number five, and Gehra Hua at number seven on Spotify’s Global Top 200. The remaining tracks continue to maintain strong positions across the chart. On Apple Music India, the album has secured the number one position, further reinforcing its dominance across platforms.
This feat marks a first for Bollywood and signals a shift in how Hindi film music is being consumed globally. The Aditya Dhar directorial has not only resonated with Indian listeners but has also found a strong audience internationally, making Dhurandhar one of the highest-debuting Indian film albums on Spotify worldwide.
Reacting to the milestone, composer and producer Shashwat Sachdev said that the success of the album was never envisioned as a numbers-driven pursuit. He described Dhurandhar as a project built on trust, collaboration, and an honest love for music, adding that seeing all eleven tracks chart globally has been deeply humbling for everyone involved in the album’s creation.
Dhurandhar is a high-octane action thriller written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, and produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. The film features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. Presented by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film opened to strong box office numbers and continues to build momentum, both theatrically and across music platforms.
