The spiritual film “Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam)” has received a major honour after the Uttar Pradesh government declared it tax-free in the state. The announcement was made by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during an address in Lucknow, where he praised the film for showcasing India’s traditions and spiritual values.
Speaking about the film, the Chief Minister said that after the cabinet expansion, he watched the movie and appreciated the efforts of everyone associated with it. He noted that the film beautifully reflects India’s cultural heritage and traditions, adding that “Krishnavataram” would now be tax-free in Uttar Pradesh. The decision is being seen as a significant recognition for a film rooted deeply in Indian spirituality and mythology.
“Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam)” explores an emotional and spiritual chapter from the life of Lord Krishna. The story follows Krishna’s journey from Dwarka to Kurukshetra after parting ways with Radha. Through this path filled with emotions, sacrifices and divine purpose, the film presents timeless lessons about love, duty and human relationships. The narrative blends mythology with emotional storytelling, making it relatable for audiences across generations.
The makers have attempted to create a cinematic experience that not only celebrates faith but also highlights the emotional side of Krishna’s life.
