The teaser of upcoming romantic comedy-drama Rajni Ki Baraat has finally been unveiled, giving audiences a colourful glimpse into a world filled with romance, comedy, emotions and small-town drama. Set in the vibrant cultural backdrop of Darbhanga in Bihar, the film presents a refreshing twist to the traditional wedding narrative by showing a fearless girl taking out her own baraat to marry the man she loves.
Leading the film is Ulka Gupta, who appears in a powerful and emotionally charged role as Rajni. Known for her performances in Jhansi Ki Rani and Kerala Story 2, the actress brings intensity and energy to the character. The teaser opens with the announcement of a traditional Bihari-style Launda Naach performance, instantly setting the tone and cultural flavour of the film.
Rajni’s bold dialogue, “Humko Rajjan se shaadi karni hai,” establishes her fearless personality and determination to fight for love. The teaser balances emotional drama with humour through quirky dialogues and entertaining moments. One comic voiceover jokingly says, “Beta, story mein footage khaana band kariye,” adding a light-hearted touch and hinting at the film’s entertaining nature.
The teaser also introduces a romantic triangle when Ishita Singh says, “Rajjan ji se milkar special toh laga,” suggesting emotional complications in the story. Veteran actress Sunita Rajwar stands out with her comic timing and lively screen presence. The teaser further showcases vibrant dance sequences featuring Zarina Wahab and Sunita Rajwar, capturing the lively spirit of Bihar’s local celebrations. Actor Ashwath Bhatt also makes a brief but impactful appearance as a police officer. His line, “Love story bahut pyaara hai sir,” hints at the emotional and dramatic twists awaiting audiences in the film.
In just one minute, the teaser successfully introduces viewers to a colourful universe filled with strong characters, humour, romance and melodrama. Alongside Ulka Gupta, actor Kanishk appears as the charming male lead, while the supporting cast adds depth and entertainment to the narrative.
Produced under the banner of Epiphany Entertainment, the film has been produced by Tanaayaa Adarkar Prabhu and Tej H. Adarkar. The movie is directed by Aditya Aman, while Mohsin Khan serves as the associate producer.
Speaking about her role, Ulka Gupta described Rajni as a passionate girl willing to go to any extent for love. She shared that the character combines emotions, madness, romance and comedy, making it both challenging and exciting to portray. According to her, Rajni reflects the fearless spirit of a Bihar girl and brings a unique emotional depth to the story.
