Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has been honoured with the ‘Star Performer Award’ at the 54th EEPC India National Export Awards in New Delhi. The award recognises TKM’s outstanding export performance in the Engines & Parts category under the Large Enterprise segment for the export year 2021-22.
The EEPC India National Export Awards celebrate excellence in India’s engineering exports, acknowledging significant contributions to foreign trade. The event was attended by key industry and government representatives.
TKM earned the award based on key performance metrics, including Free on Board (FoB) export value, net foreign exchange earnings, and product range. The company recorded a 39% increase in exports of Engines & Parts in 2021-22, reinforcing its strong presence in the global supply chain.
Executive Vice President and Director of Finance and Administration, G. Shankara, said the award reflects TKM’s commitment to quality, innovation, and strengthening India’s role in global automotive exports.
This follows TKM’s previous recognition at the EEPC India Southern Region Export Awards, where it won top honours for export excellence. The company continues to drive its export strategy, supporting the ‘Make in India’ initiative by enhancing localisation and strengthening its global competitiveness.
