Motherhood has always been a theme that touches hearts. Yet, each story finds a new way to express its depth. The upcoming Marathi film Well Done Aai is another such attempt. It focuses on a mother’s love and her everyday struggles. The film promises humour, warmth, and an emotional journey when it releases on 14 November.
The first poster of Well Done Aai was recently released. It shows actress Vishakha Subhedar in a cheerful and lively look, inviting audiences with a thumbs-up. Her role in the film is that of a strong yet loving mother who represents today’s middle-class women. She is known across Maharashtra for her comic timing, and her new role has already created buzz among audiences.
The film is produced by Sudhir Patil under Deepali Productions. It is written and directed by Shankar Archana Bapu Dhulgude. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are by Sandeep Gachhande and Shankar Dhulgude. Along with Vishakha Subhedar, the film also stars Vijay Nikam, Jaywant Wadkar, Ayush Patil, Simran Khedkar, Beena Siddharth, Tanvi Dhuri, Vipul Khandale, and others.
Speaking about the film, director Shankar Archana Bapu Dhulgude shared that the story brings a fresh perspective on a mother’s character. He said the screenplay will keep audiences engaged throughout. With its mix of humour, melody, and emotion, the film aims to offer wholesome entertainment.
The songs have been written by lyricist Sandeep Gachhande, while Nishad Golambare has composed the music. Cinematography is by Ranjit Sahu, editing by Nilesh Gawand, and background score by Agnel Roman. Rajpal Singh is the executive producer and Kafil Ansari is the production head. Choreography is handled by Chini Chetan, with costumes by Pratibha Gaikwad and makeup by Madhav Mhapanakar. Manas Redkar serves as associate director, and Eye Focus Studio (Vijay Dinesh) has managed post-production. The film will be distributed by Cinepolis, and visual promotions are managed by Premankur Bose.
