Marriott Bonvoy has entered into a major global partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC), becoming the Official Accommodation Partner for ICC events through to 2029. The multi-year agreement brings together the worlds of cricket and travel, offering fans and members new ways to experience the sport across continents.
Under this partnership, Marriott Bonvoy’s 260 million members will gain access to exclusive travel and hospitality experiences linked to some of the biggest cricket tournaments in the world. The collaboration also allows the ICC to leverage Marriott International’s wide global presence to enhance fan experiences beyond the stadium.
The partnership covers all upcoming ICC Men’s events over the next four years. These include the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka, the ICC World Test Championship Final 2027 in the United Kingdom, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 in Australia and New Zealand, the ICC World Test Championship Final 2029 in the UK, and the ICC Champions Trophy 2029 in India.
Marriott International operates more than 450 properties across the countries hosting these tournaments. This strong footprint positions the brand to host teams, officials and travelling fans. Supporters attending ICC events will be able to stay at Marriott Bonvoy hotels worldwide and book official travel packages through ICC Travel and Tours.
Marriott Bonvoy and the ICC will also work together to design premium hospitality experiences at selected venues, curate cricket-related content, and run local activations to engage fans. The aim is to combine world-class accommodation with the excitement of live cricket, creating memorable journeys both on and off the field.
Speaking on the partnership, ICC Chairman Jay Shah said the collaboration reflects a shared vision to redefine how fans experience cricket by connecting the sport with world-class destinations and meaningful travel experiences. ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta added that hospitality, culture and travel play a vital role in elevating the overall experience of major cricket events, and Marriott Bonvoy is a natural partner in that effort.
Marriott International leaders highlighted cricket’s massive global following, with more than two billion fans worldwide, and said the partnership allows the brand to connect deeply with cricket-loving markets such as India, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
With this agreement, Marriott Bonvoy strengthens its focus on passion-led travel, while the ICC enhances the lifestyle and hospitality side of its global events. Together, the two organisations aim to turn major cricket tournaments into richer, more immersive experiences for fans around the world.
