Rocking Star Yash is all set to play one of Indian mythology’s most iconic characters, Ravana, in Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited film Ramayana. But even before the film reaches theatres, the KGF star has made a major move behind the scenes that is grabbing attention across the industry.
Yash’s production house, Monster Mind Creations, will handle the Karnataka distribution of Ramayana through its dedicated distribution wing. The decision marks an important milestone for the actor, who is now expanding his presence beyond acting and production into film distribution.
Ramayana is among the most ambitious Indian film projects ever mounted and will be released in two parts. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film has generated immense excitement ever since its announcement, with audiences eagerly waiting to witness the epic story on the big screen.
By taking charge of the Karnataka distribution, Yash is not only strengthening his business portfolio but also playing a key role in ensuring the film reaches audiences across his home state. The move is expected to further boost the film’s presence in South India, where Yash enjoys a massive fan following after the phenomenal success of the KGF franchise.
The makers have strategically partnered with leading distribution companies across different regions to maximise the film’s reach. Sony Pictures will oversee the international release, while Dharma Productions will manage distribution across North India. Dil Raju will handle Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Think Studios will distribute the film in Tamil Nadu, and E4 Entertainment has been entrusted with the Kerala market.
With Monster Mind Creations now joining this powerful distribution network, Ramayana has further strengthened its nationwide release strategy. The collaboration reflects the confidence the team has in delivering the film to audiences across every major market.
Yash’s decision also highlights how leading actors are increasingly taking on larger business responsibilities within the film industry. While fans are eager to see his intense portrayal of Ravana, his latest business move demonstrates that he is equally focused on shaping the commercial success of the project.
As anticipation for Ramayana continues to grow, Yash’s dual role—as both a key performer and a distributor—adds another exciting dimension to one of Indian cinema’s biggest upcoming releases. With an impressive distribution lineup already in place, the epic is steadily gearing up for a grand theatrical release across India and overseas.
