What happens when a single house suddenly becomes home to too many claimants and even more personalities? Absolute chaos. Ghar Tera Mera, produced by Balaji Telefilms, is a high-energy comedy series that turns a simple villa into the centre of eccentric friendships, misunderstandings, and unpredictable drama. The show premiered exclusively on the Kutingg App on 6th March.
The story follows Rishabh Pandit, a struggling entrepreneur balancing the pressures of saving his start-up while living in his ancestral home. His life takes an unexpected turn when Reena, a mysterious young woman, shows up claiming the house belongs to her. The situation escalates further when Rishabh’s goofy best friend Jatin and his glamorous girlfriend Alisha decide to move in. Together, they create a whirlwind of humour, surprises, and relatable drama.
Talking about his role, Shehzad Shaikh shared, “The offer came completely out of the blue, and once I read the script, I instantly connected with it. I usually play intense roles, but this character is carefree, fun, and full of life. Within 24 hours, I was already shooting.”
Karishma Sawant, who plays Reena, added, “What excited me most was that I didn’t have to worry about TRPs. Being a limited series, the narrative is crisp and engaging. Reena is ambitious, smart, and very real. She represents today’s woman, confident, flawed, and unapologetically herself.”
The drama also stars Gitanjali Mangal as Alisha and Adarsh Singh in a key supporting role. Together, the ensemble brings to life a lively mix of humour, quirky dynamics, and relatable moments, making Ghar Tera Mera a binge-worthy watch.
With sharp humour, unpredictable situations, and endearing characters, the show promises a light-hearted ride where each episode delivers fresh chaos and laughter. As the villa becomes the hub of constant confusion and unexpected bonds, audiences can expect a fast-paced, entertaining series designed for today’s digital-first viewers.
Ghar Tera Mera begins streaming on the Kutingg App from 6th March.
