KidZania India has partnered with children’s personal care brand KT Kids to launch the KT Kids Personal Care Studio at KidZania Mumbai, introducing an interactive role-play experience designed to help children understand the world of personal care through hands-on learning.
Launched on August 2, the new attraction encourages children to explore how everyday personal care products are presented, organised and managed. By combining education with play, the initiative aims to make learning more engaging while helping children develop practical life skills in a fun environment.
At the studio, children can take on the roles of Display Stylist and Inventory Manager, allowing them to experience different aspects of the personal care industry. Participants are introduced to activities such as arranging product displays, preparing product samples and managing inventory, giving them a glimpse into how products reach consumers.
The initiative is built around KidZania’s learning-through-role-play model, where children experience real-world professions in a safe and interactive setting. Through these activities, participants are encouraged to develop creativity, teamwork, organisation and problem-solving abilities while understanding the importance of planning and responsibility.
Speaking about the launch, Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, Chief Business Officer, KidZania India, said children learn best when they actively participate rather than simply observe. He noted that the new studio allows them to understand the journey of everyday products while gaining valuable practical experience.
According to Sekhon, introducing children to different industries through immersive experiences helps them build confidence, improve decision-making skills and develop a better understanding of how businesses function.
Sharing the vision behind the collaboration, Dhruv Sayani, Founder of KT Kids, said the objective was to create curiosity among children about personal care rather than simply introducing them to products. He said the experience helps young participants appreciate the effort, creativity and planning involved in developing products that people use every day.
Sayani added that learning through play makes concepts easier for children to understand while encouraging them to ask questions and explore new ideas.
KidZania Mumbai has regularly partnered with brands from different industries to create educational experiences that reflect real-life professions. From healthcare and banking to aviation, media and retail, the facility offers children opportunities to explore various career paths through interactive activities.
The addition of the KT Kids Personal Care Studio further expands these learning experiences by introducing children to an industry they interact with daily but may know little about behind the scenes.
As experiential learning continues to gain importance in children’s education, initiatives like the KT Kids Personal Care Studio aim to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and practical understanding. By encouraging children to learn through participation, the programme seeks to nurture essential life skills while making education enjoyable.
The collaboration reflects a growing focus on creating meaningful learning experiences that prepare children for the future by combining creativity, responsibility and teamwork with everyday learning.
