Global artificial intelligence and advanced analytics company Tiger Analytics has outlined an ambitious roadmap to help Bihar emerge as a leading AI and digital governance hub. At the AI Conclave 2026 held in Patna, the company brought together senior government officials, academic leaders and technology experts to discuss the future of artificial intelligence in the state and its potential to transform governance, innovation and employment.
The conclave focused on how AI can improve public services while creating high-value jobs and strengthening Bihar’s position in India’s growing technology ecosystem. Representatives from the Government of Bihar, IIT Patna and Tiger Analytics shared their vision of building an AI-driven future through collaboration between the public and private sectors.
During the event, Tiger Analytics presented a long-term strategy built around four major priorities. These include establishing the country’s largest AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Patna, creating a 200-member AI delivery hub in Bihar, generating high-skilled employment opportunities to retain local talent, and supporting AI-powered governance across government departments.
The company highlighted the growing role of responsible artificial intelligence in improving decision-making and enhancing citizen services. Discussions also explored AI applications in sectors such as agriculture, healthcare and public administration, where data-driven solutions can improve efficiency and service delivery.
Speaking at the conclave, Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tiger Analytics, said Bihar is laying the foundation for a new era of AI-led growth. He said the company’s partnership with the Government of Bihar and IIT Patna aims to create a vibrant AI ecosystem that nurtures local talent, encourages innovation and opens new employment opportunities.
He also emphasised Tiger Analytics’ commitment to helping government institutions use data and artificial intelligence to strengthen governance, improve policy decisions, enhance public services and address complex social challenges.
Pratyaya Amrit, Chief Secretary of Bihar, said the Bihar AI Mission reflects the state’s vision of making governance more transparent, efficient and citizen-centric through artificial intelligence. He added that Tiger Analytics, as the mission’s industry partner, will bring global expertise to Bihar while helping create skilled jobs and encouraging innovation within the state.
One of the biggest announcements during the conclave was the establishment of a Global AI Delivery Centre in Patna. The new facility will employ around 200 AI professionals who will develop advanced enterprise AI solutions for Fortune 1000 companies worldwide. The initiative is expected to provide local professionals with opportunities to build global careers without leaving Bihar.
Another major initiative is the creation of what is expected to become the country’s largest AI Centre of Excellence at IIT Patna. The centre will be jointly developed by the Bihar Government and Tiger Analytics to promote AI research, innovation and entrepreneurship.
As part of this initiative, Tiger Analytics has committed an investment of ₹12 crore. The company also plans to support advanced mentoring programmes and train 5,000 students and professionals in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and speech and language models.
The conclave concluded with a shared commitment from the government, industry and academic institutions to work together in building a strong AI ecosystem. The initiative aims to promote responsible technology adoption, encourage innovation and contribute to Bihar’s long-term economic growth while preparing the state’s workforce for the rapidly evolving digital economy.
