Romantic family drama Dil Deewana Ho Gaya is set for a nationwide theatrical release on July 31, bringing together fresh talent, heartfelt storytelling and family entertainment. Produced by Ishpaul Singh Chawla under the Grandway Productions banner, the film aims to offer audiences a clean and emotional cinematic experience.
One of the film’s biggest highlights is the launch of three new actors in Hindi cinema. Television actress Kajal Chauhan makes her Bollywood debut, while Bhanuj Sood and Shubhkaran Bhopal step into feature films for the first time.
Producer Ishpaul Singh Chawla said the film has been built around honest storytelling rather than relying solely on established stars. He believes audiences connect most with relatable characters and genuine performances, which is why the team chose actors who naturally suited their roles.
He also praised debut feature film director Rajiv Shamlal Soni for his dedication throughout the project. Although this is Soni’s first feature film, he brings years of experience from directing successful television serials.
The producer also highlighted the film’s music, composed by Vishnu Narayan, saying the soundtrack features five melodious songs that complement the emotional journey of the story.
The recently released promotional material and music have received encouraging feedback during a launch event in Mumbai. Members of the media and invited guests appreciated the film’s emotional appeal, music and family-oriented narrative, adding to the anticipation ahead of its theatrical release.
The film has been shot across picturesque locations in Mumbai and Manali, providing a visually appealing backdrop to the romantic family drama.
For Kajal Chauhan, the project marks the fulfilment of a long-held dream of entering Bollywood after working in television. She expressed gratitude to producer Ishpaul Singh Chawla for believing in emerging talent and said the dedication of the entire team would be reflected on screen.
Bhanuj Sood described the film as an ideal beginning to his acting career. Having previously appeared in several advertising campaigns, he said making his feature film debut in a family entertainer makes the experience even more memorable.
Shubhkaran Bhopal, who hails from Manali, said he immediately accepted the project after hearing the script from director Rajiv Shamlal Soni. Shooting in his hometown made the journey even more meaningful as his family had the opportunity to watch him perform during filming.
The film also features an experienced supporting cast including Mushtaq Khan, Aroon Bakshi, Raju Kher, Brij Gopal, Mehul Buch, Garima Agrawal, Anjali Gupta and Diveyaa Dwivedi, who play important roles in the story.
Distributed across India by JB Pictures, headed by Karan Bhatia, Dil Deewana Ho Gaya is positioned as a family-friendly entertainer that can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
With fresh faces, melodious music, scenic locations and an emotional storyline, the makers hope the film will connect with viewers when it arrives in cinemas on July 31.
