A grand event was organised at Ravindra Natya Mandir in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, to mark the completion of 12 years of the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The programme witnessed the unveiling of a special commemorative edition titled “Rashtra Nirman Ki Tappoorti,” which highlighted the government’s development journey and key initiatives over the past decade.

The event was attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP Maharashtra President Ravindra Chavan, senior BJP leaders, party workers and invited guests. Leaders present at the gathering described the last 12 years as a transformative period that reshaped India’s global image, governance model and development priorities.

Addressing the audience, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership has brought a major shift in the country’s growth approach. He stated that India has moved beyond the idea of “Make in India” towards “Make for World,” reflecting the country’s growing confidence and expanding role in the global economy.

Fadnavis highlighted that several initiatives launched during the Modi government’s tenure have focused on improving the lives of ordinary citizens. According to him, schemes related to welfare for the poor, women empowerment, digital infrastructure and transparent governance have created a direct impact on millions of people across the country.

He further said that the government’s emphasis on technology and digital systems has improved transparency and efficiency in public administration. From digital payments and online services to welfare delivery mechanisms, India has witnessed rapid technological expansion over the last decade. Fadnavis added that such developments have strengthened the connection between governance and citizens.

Speaking about India’s global standing, the Maharashtra Chief Minister noted that the country today enjoys stronger recognition on the international stage. He said India’s economic growth, diplomatic outreach and focus on self-reliance have contributed to building global confidence in the country’s capabilities.

BJP Maharashtra President Ravindra Chavan also addressed the gathering and referred to Prime Minister Modi as a “Rashtra Tapasvi,” describing him as a leader dedicated to national development and public service. He stated that the commemorative edition released during the event serves as a historical document reflecting the journey of what he described as “New India.”

According to Chavan, the publication highlights important milestones achieved during the past 12 years, including infrastructure development, social welfare initiatives, economic reforms and efforts aimed at improving governance systems. He said the government’s policies have focused on creating opportunities while strengthening India’s long-term development vision.

The event also witnessed the presence of Maharashtra minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, MLA Ameet Satam and several other BJP leaders and workers. Supporters attending the programme described the occasion as both a celebration of achievements and a reflection on India’s development journey under the current leadership.

The release of “Rashtra Nirman Ki Tappoorti” was one of the key highlights of the evening. The commemorative edition was presented as a documentation of policy initiatives, governance reforms and development projects associated with the Modi government over the last 12 years.

Political observers note that the BJP continues to place strong emphasis on development-focused messaging while highlighting themes such as nationalism, governance reforms and economic progress. Events such as these are also seen as part of the party’s broader effort to connect government achievements with public outreach ahead of future political challenges.

As the programme concluded, leaders and party workers reiterated their confidence in the government’s vision for India’s future. The event reflected the BJP’s attempt to present the past 12 years as a significant chapter in the country’s political and developmental journey.
