Author Bharat M. Jain unveiled his latest book, Gen-Z: An Incomplete Book (एक अधूरी सी किताब), at a grand launch event held at World of Palates by Rustico, Nariman Point. Published by I-Read Publications, the book was released simultaneously in English and Hindi, offering readers a deeper understanding of Generation Z and the challenges shaping their lives.
The event drew several prominent personalities from the entertainment, wellness and literary sectors, making it a star-studded celebration of literature and meaningful dialogue. Music composer Daboo Malik, actors Hrishikesh Pandey and Aniruddh Dave, actress Saanvie Tallwar, astrologers Geetu Parmar and Ashutosh, tarot card reader Rinhee Suberwal, singer Parleen Gill, nutritionist Dhvani Shah, international swimmer Shubham Vanmali, English educator Ritu Rathod and several other distinguished guests attended the launch to extend their support to the author.
The book explores the emotional landscape of today’s youth, touching upon themes such as mental health, relationships, aspirations, identity, self-expression and the pressures faced by Gen Z. Through its stories and observations, the book seeks to encourage empathy and understanding while challenging stereotypes often associated with the younger generation.
Addressing the audience, Bharat M. Jain said the book is not intended to define Gen Z but to understand them. He explained that each chapter aims to give a voice to emotions that frequently remain unheard and expressed hope that readers of all ages would connect with the stories and develop a deeper appreciation of the experiences of today’s youth.
Speaking at the event, music composer Daboo Malik praised the book for its thoughtful approach. He said every generation has its own dreams, struggles and language, adding that what makes the book relevant is its willingness to listen before passing judgment.
Actor Aniruddh Dave described the book as a meaningful initiative that encourages dialogue between generations. He noted that literature has the power to bring people together through understanding and urged readers to look beyond assumptions while engaging with younger generations.
Actress Saanvie Tallwar highlighted the importance of discussions around mental health and identity. She said young people often do not seek advice as much as they seek understanding, adding that the book effectively reinforces the need for empathy and open conversations.
The launch also witnessed active participation from members of the media and digital content creators. Journalists interacted with Bharat M. Jain and the celebrity guests, discussing the inspiration behind the book and its relevance in today’s rapidly changing social landscape. The conversations focused on the importance of emotional well-being and the need to create safe spaces where young people feel heard and accepted.
