Actress Indraxi Kanjilal, currently seen as Prarthana in Pushpa Impossible, shares her thoughts on relationships, privacy, and how social media has changed the way people perceive love.
Speaking about Valentine’s Day, Indraxi says the day holds no special significance for her at the moment. “Since I don’t have a partner, it’s just a normal day for me. If I get a day off, I’d probably go for a movie with my mum and granny. However, when I do have a partner in the future, I’d prefer to keep my love life private rather than public,” she shares.
In an era where relationships are often displayed on social media, Indraxi expresses her preference for keeping things private. “Unless I’m completely sure about the person, I would prefer not to share my relationship online. Privacy makes me feel safe and helps me cherish the relationship without external pressure.”
She also observes how old-school love is becoming rare in today’s fast-paced world of dating. “These days, relationships seem more about validation than genuine connection. People are more focused on their phones rather than having meaningful conversations. Romance, for me, is in small gestures rather than grand displays.”
Indraxi believes that while grand romantic gestures can be beautiful, they often serve more as social media content than expressions of love. “A heartfelt note, a surprise visit, or just being there when needed means more to me than an extravagant public display.”
She also advises caution in relationships. “Love should be built on understanding and patience, not just emotions. It’s important to take your time, spend quality moments together, and truly get to know the person before placing your trust in them.”
Summing up her thoughts, Indraxi remains hopeful about experiencing true love one day. “I believe that deep, meaningful connections still exist beyond the digital world. Love may be rare, but for those who truly value it, it’s still possible.”
