The Marathi film industry has long been celebrated for its commitment to storytelling that bridges entertainment with social relevance. Staying true to this legacy, the much-anticipated film Nibaar is set to hit cinemas across Maharashtra on 13th June. The official poster was recently unveiled, generating considerable buzz among cinephiles and industry watchers alike.

Produced by Santosh Bhanage, Aniket Mali, and Bharat Sawant under the banner of Dhruv Films and Entertainment, Nibaar is co-produced by Jitendra Bhaskar Thakare and helmed by director Sunil Shinde. The poster, which has been receiving widespread appreciation, prominently features some of the most recognisable faces in Marathi cinema.
Acclaimed actor Shashank Ketkar, known for his powerful performances in television and film, takes on the lead role opposite talented actress Sayali Sanjeev. The cast also includes seasoned performer Shashank Shende, who has left an indelible mark in both Marathi and Hindi films. Devika Daftardar and Arun Nalavade further enrich the ensemble with their presence.
The film’s poster features five young children walking towards a sunrise, symbolising hope and perhaps the film’s deeper narrative themes. This imagery suggests that Nibaar focuses on a story anchored in the lives and struggles of these children.
Additional cast members include Shanta Tambe, Rajesh Durge, and Aniket Mali, playing pivotal supporting roles.
The screenplay and dialogues are penned by Rajesh Durge and Sunil Shinde, with evocative lyrics written by Vaibhav Deshmukh. The film’s music and background score have been composed by Rohit Nagbhide, featuring vocals by celebrated singers Adarsh Shinde and Rohit Raut.
Behind the scenes, the visual narrative is crafted by cinematographer Dhananjay Kulkarni, while editing duties are handled by Sunil Jadhav. Satish Bidkar leads the art direction, and sound design is by Abhijeet Dev. Shirish Rane serves as casting and line producer, with Amol Gaikwad as the executive producer.
With its powerful cast, evocative visuals, and socially grounded storyline, Nibaar promises to be a thought-provoking cinematic experience, inviting viewers to reflect on deeper societal themes while appreciating the richness of Marathi storytelling.
