Marriott Bonvoy brings its loyalty programme to life with a limited-edition tea collaboration and a chance to win one million points.
India, March 16, 2026: Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s acclaimed travel programme, is making loyalty feel effortless, just like a daily cup of tea. In a unique partnership with Sri Lankan family tea brand Dilmah, Marriott Bonvoy has created Loyal-Tea, a limited-edition India-exclusive tea blend. This special collaboration will be unveiled at a public pop-up in Mumbai on 21–22 March, where members have the chance to win one million Marriott Bonvoy points.
Many travellers find loyalty programmes complex and difficult to navigate. Marriott Bonvoy aims to change that perception with its campaign “Loyalty, Just That Easy,” designed to make loyalty intuitive, rewarding, and accessible to both frequent and occasional travellers.
The Pop-Up Experience: A Golden Opportunity
The Loyal-Tea pop-up at Phoenix Palladium Courtyard, Mumbai promises a lively, interactive experience. Visitors can register for Marriott Bonvoy on the spot and participate in a fast-paced game to win one of 300 exclusive Loyal-Tea blind boxes. Each box includes a collectible tea tumbler and the India-exclusive tea blend created with Dilmah.
Among these boxes is a Golden Tumbler, which will award one lucky winner 1,000,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. These points can be redeemed across Marriott Bonvoy’s 10,000 global destinations, including hotel stays, dining, and unique experiences. For example, one million points could cover approximately two weeks at The St. Regis Mumbai, a month at The Westin Resort & Spa Cam Ranh, or two months at Moxy Kuala Lumpur Chinatown.
Redefining Loyalty in India
This campaign follows Marriott Bonvoy’s recent milestones in India, such as giving over 500 members exclusive access to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Partnerships with platforms like Swiggy and Flipkart now allow members to earn points through everyday shopping, further simplifying loyalty rewards.
Khushnooma Kapadia, Vice President Marketing, South Asia, Marriott International, said: “Hospitality-led loyalty is about relevance, accessibility, and everyday engagement. We aim to make Marriott Bonvoy second nature for travellers, easy to engage with, and rewarding across stays, dining, and experiences.”
Members can earn and redeem points across more than 30 hotel brands worldwide, and enjoy benefits like free nights, room upgrades, dining discounts, and access to exclusive experiences. Marriott Bonvoy membership is free and designed to seamlessly fit into a traveller’s journey.
