Mumbai, 10 March 2026: Marriott International’s travel loyalty programme Marriott Bonvoy has announced a strategic partnership with Swiggy to bring travel rewards into everyday consumer experiences in India. The collaboration allows members of both platforms to earn Marriott Bonvoy points on regular transactions across Swiggy’s services, including food delivery, quick commerce and dining out.
The partnership aims to extend Marriott Bonvoy’s loyalty benefits beyond hotel stays and travel. By linking their accounts, members can now accumulate reward points through daily spending on Swiggy’s ecosystem. The initiative reflects a broader shift towards integrating lifestyle services with travel rewards in India’s rapidly evolving digital economy.
Under the new collaboration, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn five points for every ₹500 spent across Swiggy’s services such as food delivery, Swiggy Instamart and Swiggy Dineout.
This means users can earn travel rewards not only when staying at Marriott hotels but also while ordering meals, booking restaurant tables, hosting gatherings or purchasing groceries online. By turning routine spending into point earning opportunities, the programme aims to make loyalty benefits more accessible and relevant to everyday lifestyles.
As part of the partnership, Marriott Bonvoy Elite members across tiers such as Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador will also receive a complimentary membership to Swiggy One.
Swiggy One provides benefits across the platform including free deliveries, special discounts and exclusive dining offers. The inclusion of this membership adds additional value for Marriott Bonvoy members who frequently use Swiggy’s services for food delivery, grocery purchases and restaurant bookings.
The collaboration represents a larger strategy by Marriott Bonvoy to integrate its rewards programme into everyday consumer activities in India. Traditionally, hospitality loyalty programmes focused mainly on hotel stays and travel-related spending. However, Marriott Bonvoy has been expanding its ecosystem through partnerships in various sectors.
Recent initiatives include the co-branded Marriott Bonvoy HDFC Bank Credit Card, collaborations with Flipkart, and partnerships with global sporting bodies such as the International Cricket Council.
John Toomey, Chief Commercial Officer for Asia Pacific excluding China at Marriott International, said the partnership brings loyalty closer to everyday life. According to him, the collaboration allows members to convert daily spending into future travel experiences while making Marriott Bonvoy more accessible and relevant in India.
Phani Kishan Addepalli, Co-founder and Chief Growth Officer at Swiggy, said the partnership strengthens Swiggy’s role in everyday convenience. He noted that by linking everyday services with global travel rewards, the collaboration creates more meaningful value for users.
With India emerging as a key market for digital services and travel, the partnership between Marriott Bonvoy and Swiggy marks a significant step towards redefining loyalty programmes by connecting daily consumption with global hospitality experiences.
