Mumbai witnessed a landmark moment for India’s real estate sector as the NAR-India National Convention concluded with record-breaking business activity and a renewed vision for the future. Far from being a routine industry gathering, the summit emerged as a powerful catalyst for transformation in the country’s real estate brokerage landscape.

With participation from over 1,800 delegates, the convention facilitated business deals worth more than ₹3,000 crore, highlighting the growing scale and influence of organised brokerage networks. The event focused not just on discussions, but on delivering measurable outcomes through structured business engagements.

A key highlight of the summit was its result-driven format. Carefully planned B2B meetings, project showcases, and investment discussions created real opportunities for collaboration and deal-making. This practical approach injected fresh momentum into the sector, reinforcing the importance of efficiency and transparency in modern real estate transactions.

The presence of leading corporates such as Reliance Industries, Tata Group, and Aditya Birla Group further underscored the significance of the event. Their participation reflected increasing confidence in India’s evolving real estate ecosystem, where organised brokerage is becoming a key driver of growth.

Industry leaders also shared insights on the future direction of the sector. Niranjan Hiranandani highlighted the importance of collaboration in unlocking new opportunities, while Chandresh Vithlani pointed to a clear shift towards a more structured and professional brokerage framework.

The convention also marked the introduction of NAR-India’s new leadership team, which is set to steer the organisation into its next phase of growth. Chairman Sumanth Reddy emphasised that deeper collaboration will play a crucial role in enhancing deal flow and building trust across the industry. President-Elect Ashish Mehta added that the platform created through this event will continue to generate opportunities beyond the summit.

Looking ahead, NAR-India plans to accelerate the formalisation of the brokerage sector through key initiatives such as ‘One India, One License’ and the introduction of a digital transaction platform. These efforts aim to streamline processes, improve transparency, and create a more unified national market.

As Mumbai hosted this high-impact convention, it became clear that the real estate brokerage sector in India is entering a new era, one defined by structure, collaboration, and sustained growth.
