Neeraj Chopra, India’s Olympic javelin thrower and double medallist, has tied the knot with Himani Mor in an intimate ceremony held recently. The location of the marriage, however, has not been revealed.
Neeraj, 27, informed everyone about his marriage to Himani by posting a message on Instagram along with photographs. He wrote, in Hindi and English, “Beginning of a new chapter in life, with the family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after. Neeraj (heart symbol) Himani.”
Himani Mor, a tennis player, hails from Larsauli in Haryana. She is a former USA collegiate tennis player and a current tennis coach. She completed her graduation in political science and physical education from Delhi’s Miranda House and later moved to the US for higher studies. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Science in Sports Management and Administration from McCormack Isenberg School of Management, Amherst. Amherst is a city in Hampshire County, Massachusetts, United States, in the Connecticut River valley.
The wedding was a private affair, attended by close family and friends. Following the ceremony, the couple has left the country for their honeymoon.
