Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced a 19% year-on-year increase in sales for January 2025, selling 29,371 units compared to 24,609 units in the same period last year. The company’s domestic market accounted for 26,178 units, while 3,193 units were exported.
The growth reflects TKM’s continued focus on customer-centric strategies, expanding accessibility, and innovative value-added solutions. Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business & Profit Enhancement, attributed the strong performance to the positive market response to the company’s product lineup, including the newly launched All New Camry Hybrid.
Wadhwa stated that TKM aims to strengthen its foothold in India in 2025 by enhancing customer experiences through seamless after-sales support and value-added services. The company will continue to adopt a multi-pathway approach to cater to diverse mobility needs while prioritising operational efficiency.
TKM also highlighted its participation in the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, where it showcased advanced technologies under the theme “Happier Path Together,” aligning with its global commitment to sustainable growth and carbon neutrality.
In a significant move, TKM launched its wholly owned subsidiary, Toyota Mobility Solutions and Services India Ltd. (TMSS), in January 2025. TMSS aims to revolutionise India’s pre-owned car market by upholding Toyota’s core values of Quality, Durability, and Reliability.
