After the BJP secured an almost unassailable lead in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his gratitude to the people of Delhi. In a Hindi message, Shah wrote, “The people of Delhi have made it clear that they cannot be misled repeatedly with false promises. Through their votes, they have responded to the polluted Yamuna, contaminated drinking water, broken roads, overflowing sewers, and liquor shops in every neighbourhood.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all @BJP4Delhi workers, BJP National President @JPNadda, and Delhi BJP President @Virend_Sachdeva for their relentless hard work in securing this grand victory in Delhi.
Be it respect for women, dignity for residents of unauthorised colonies, or immense opportunities for self-employment, under Modi Ji’s leadership, Delhi will now become an ideal capital.”
