Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans to bring the Hyatt Place brand to Bhuj, marking its first hotel in this historic city of Gujarat. The new hotel, Hyatt Place Bhuj, is under development by Primitive Property LLP and is set to open in 2029. It will be located on a 7,500-square-meter site, aiming to blend comfort, innovation, and style for modern travelers.
Bhuj, known as the gateway to the Kutch district, is rapidly emerging as both a corporate and cultural hub. Hyatt Place Bhuj aims to meet the demands of multitasking guests by offering 125 thoughtfully designed guestrooms, combining comfort with modern amenities. Facilities will include an all-day restaurant, lobby lounge, conference and breakout rooms, outdoor dining options, and flexible event spaces.
Dhruva Rathore, Vice President of Development for India & Southwest Asia at Hyatt, stated that the hotel’s design focuses on creating a seamless experience with distinct zones for work and rest. The hotel promises spacious accommodations and flexible social spaces tailored to today’s travelers.
Primitive Property LLP partners, Ankit Anupgiri Goswami and Kruti Ankit Goswami, highlighted their vision to create a modern, international hotel that elevates guest experience. Partnering with Hyatt, they aim to make Hyatt Place Bhuj the preferred choice for business and leisure travelers visiting the region.
Hyatt Place Bhuj reflects Hyatt’s ongoing commitment to expanding its portfolio in high-growth Indian markets. The brand emphasizes guest-centric hospitality with amenities such as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food service, making it easier for guests to balance work and relaxation.
The new hotel aligns with Hyatt’s strategy to bring purposeful hospitality to key destinations, and its launch in Bhuj is expected to boost both tourism and business travel in Gujarat.
