Mumbai, 24 March 2026: Indriya, the jewellery brand from the Aditya Birla Group, made a striking statement at Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI with the unveiling of its latest showcase, ‘Orizon’. The presentation brought together sculptural couture and luminous Polki jewellery, offering a modern interpretation of Indian heritage.
The showcase was designed to celebrate tradition while embracing innovation. Indriya reimagined classic Polki craftsmanship through a contemporary lens, pairing it with designer Amit Aggarwal’s signature silhouettes crafted from Banarasi weaves and mirror work. The result was a seamless blend of heritage and modern design, created for the confident Indian woman who carries her roots with pride.
Actor Disha Patani walked the runway as the showstopper, embodying the essence of ‘Orizon’. Adorned in statement Indriya jewellery, she brought the collection’s vision to life, where tradition meets contemporary elegance. The runway unfolded as a visual story, beginning with minimal diamond pieces and gradually transitioning into bold Polki and gold designs that reflected both heritage and innovation.
A key highlight of the showcase was Indriya’s redefinition of Polki jewellery through light, colour, and fluidity. Skilled artisans introduced the samosa dart setting, a technique that enhances the brilliance of each stone by improving light reflection. This innovation gave the jewellery an ethereal glow while maintaining its traditional roots.
The collection also featured an exquisite mix of gemstones, including tourmalines, tanzanites, sapphires, rubies, and South Sea pearls. These were paired with delicate Polki elements to create layered, multidimensional designs. Advanced techniques such as wall-prong and corner-bezel settings reduced metal visibility, allowing the gemstones to appear almost weightless.
Throughout the showcase, jewellery and garments worked in harmony, creating an immersive experience rather than a static display. The presentation traced a journey from subtle elegance to bold radiance, symbolising transformation and self-expression.
Speaking about the collection, Indriya’s CEO highlighted how the brand is redefining traditional jewellery for a new era through innovation and design excellence. Amit Aggarwal also emphasised the importance of collaboration in bringing the concept of ‘Orizon’ to life.
With ‘Orizon’, Indriya successfully presented a contemporary take on Indian craftsmanship, where heritage evolves into a powerful form of modern identity.
