In a fresh push toward smarter insurance decisions, insurtech startup CoverSure has joined forces with fintech platform Jupiter to simplify the way Indians assess their insurance needs. The partnership brings CoverSure’s advanced risk assessment engine directly into the Jupiter app, allowing users to calculate personalised risk scores before even exploring insurance products.
This feature aims to fill a long-standing gap in India’s insurance space — the absence of awareness around why and how much coverage is actually needed. The partnership launched on 28 July 2025.
At the core of this initiative is CoverSure’s Risk Calculator, a first-of-its-kind tool that crunches over 25 real-life variables. These include family size, lifestyle, healthcare inflation, and even environmental changes. The result is a quick, science-backed ‘risk score’ along with a suggested ideal cover amount — all delivered in under a minute.
Instead of promoting insurance products directly, this tool helps users identify potential threats to their financial future, from health issues to life uncertainties. It encourages protection planning before wealth planning — flipping the traditional order.
