KidZania India has partnered with children’s personal care brand KT Kids to introduce the KT Kids Personal Care Studio at KidZania Mumbai, offering children a new role-play experience that combines learning with interactive play.
Launched on August 2, the initiative aims to familiarise children with the basics of the personal care industry through hands-on activities. The studio has been designed to help young visitors understand how personal care products are displayed, managed and presented, while encouraging creativity and teamwork.
At the new experience centre, children can take on the roles of Display Stylist and Inventory Manager. Through these activities, they get an opportunity to prepare product samples, arrange attractive product displays and organise inventory, giving them a practical introduction to how personal care products move from shelves to consumers.
The initiative reflects KidZania’s approach of blending entertainment with real-world learning. By participating in role-play activities, children are encouraged to explore different professions and develop life skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Speaking about the collaboration, Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, Chief Business Officer, KidZania India, said the experience has been designed to help children learn by actively participating rather than simply observing.
“Children learn not just by observing the world, but by becoming a part of it. This studio gives them an opportunity to understand the journey behind everyday products,” he said.
KT Kids, known for its children’s personal care products, said the partnership is intended to spark curiosity among children about the products they use in their daily lives.
Dhruv Sayani, Founder of KT Kids, said the objective was to encourage children to look beyond the finished product and understand the effort involved in creating and presenting it.
“We wanted children not just to know about personal care, but also to become curious about it. Through play, they can understand the amount of care and thought that goes into creating a product,” he said.
Apart from introducing children to the personal care segment, the studio has also been designed to build essential life skills. Through different activities, participants are encouraged to improve their creativity, organisation, responsibility, teamwork and problem-solving abilities while completing tasks in a simulated work environment.
KidZania has consistently introduced industry-based role-play experiences to help children explore different careers in an interactive setting. The addition of the KT Kids Personal Care Studio further expands its range of educational activities by introducing young visitors to the personal care sector in an age-appropriate manner.
With experiential learning becoming an increasingly popular approach to children’s education, initiatives such as the KT Kids Personal Care Studio aim to make everyday concepts easier to understand through participation, allowing children to learn valuable skills while enjoying an immersive play experience.
