A special ration scheme has been launched by the Union Government to provide quality food supplies at affordable prices for devotees attending Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. The National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) is distributing essential food items such as wheat flour, rice, and pulses at subsidised rates.

More than 1,000 metric tons of ration have already been distributed across Prayagraj, with the process continuing through 20 mobile vans deployed across the Kumbh area. To make access easier, devotees can place orders for rations via WhatsApp or phone calls on 72757 81810.
Key Highlights of the Ration Scheme:
- Distribution via mobile vans ensuring easy access.
- WhatsApp and call-based ordering for devotees staying in ashrams and camps.
- Subsidised rates on essential items.
- 10 kilo packets of wheat flour and rice, and 1 kilo packets of pulses (moong, masoor, chana dal).

So far, 700 metric tons of wheat flour, 350 metric tons of pulses, and 10 metric tons of rice have been distributed. NAFED’s ‘Bharat Brand’ grains are gaining popularity among devotees due to their quality and affordability.
