Hands-on clinical learning for Philips IGT team
Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) engineers attended a two-day clinical training at MAHE, Manipal. The program, held on March 20-21, 2025, aimed to integrate engineering with real-world healthcare applications.
KMC experts led the sessions
Kasturba Medical College (KMC) faculty conducted sessions on cardiac and radiology devices. Engineers learned about medical device functionalities and applications in patient care. They also gained hands-on experience with advanced medical technologies.
Bridging engineering and medicine
Vice Chancellor M. D. Venkatesh stressed the need for collaboration between technology and healthcare. He highlighted AI-driven diagnostics and remote monitoring as the future of medical advancements.
