Turkish Airlines, known for flying to the highest number of countries worldwide, has further expanded its global network by launching direct services to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The move aligns with the airline’s long-term strategy to strengthen its presence across key international markets.

With Phnom Penh added to its map, Cambodia becomes the seventh Southeast Asian country served by the carrier, and the city becomes its eleventh destination in the region. The new route deepens commercial links between Türkiye and Cambodia and supports the economic momentum of Cambodia’s growing market. It also takes Turkish Airlines’ Far East reach to 20 cities across 21 airports.

The introduction of this connection offers travellers a smoother journey to one of Southeast Asia’s most significant cultural and commercial hubs. It also reinforces Turkish Airlines’ unique position as the only European airline operating flights to Phnom Penh, further enhancing its reputation for unmatched global connectivity.

Flights operate three times a week. Services from Istanbul depart on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while return flights leave Phnom Penh for Istanbul on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi said: “We continue to broaden our network across continents and increase our presence in strategic destinations. Cambodia now joins our network as the 132nd country, marking a major milestone. This new service will open doors for tourism and business, and as the sole European carrier on this route, we are strengthening our leadership in the region.”

Phnom Penh remains a major tourism and trade centre, known for its rich history, vibrant cityscapes, and cultural landmarks. Located where the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers meet, the city offers travellers experiences ranging from the Royal Palace and National Museum to bustling traditional markets.

To celebrate the launch, Turkish Airlines is offering promotional fares for bookings made until 10 February 2026, for travel valid until 31 October 2026. Prices begin at 699 USD from Istanbul to Phnom Penh and 679 USD for the return journey. Tickets are available on the airline’s official website, with prices varying across sales offices and travel agencies.
